“Tim Adams Shiraz has given me more pleasure over the years than almost any other Australian wine and while similarly fine Aussie reds seem to shoot up in price every time I think of buying a bottle, Tim Adams Shiraz barely seems to keep pace with inflation." Oz Clarke
"93 points. Gee these wines are great value. This is a rich and ripe rendition, yet there's a lovely evenness across the full-bodied palate abetted by supple tannins. No harsh edges, just ripe, plump fruit and its spice friends having a party. The finish is warm and almost cuddly." James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion
“The warm dry season has birthed a voluptuous Clare Valley Shiraz brimming with juicy dark fruits, spice and a lovely subtle lick of dark chocolate oak. Fine-grained tannins complete an alluring, lingering and bargain priced Shiraz that will turn heads and hearts. 93/100” Tyson Stelzer, WBM Magazine, Feb 2022
This is a great-value Shiraz which displays plenty of Clare Valley freshness alongside the ripe fruit and long, rich finish.
The wine has a rich deep crimson hue with aromas and flavours of blackberry, mulberry and dark cherry. The front and mid-palate is full and soft, with flavours of small berry fruit and spice complemented by the oak. The wine finishes with integrated oak and firm, silky tannins and a finish of great length.
This graceful Clare Shiraz has power and finesse which makes it both approachable now and worthy of keeping for up to 10 years.
