12 bottles (3 each of 4) despatched every 3 months - March, June, September and December

Three bottles each of:

2018 Hay Shed Hill Pitchfork Cabernet Merlot

Medium to deep red colour with a tint of purple. The aromas are flowers and violets, cassis and blueberry, the palate bright and fresh with lively mouth-feel and great vitality. It has intensity and persistence. The tannins are fine but assertive. The finish is very refreshing.

2017 Eldredge Vineyards Clare Valley Shiraz Cabernet

60% Shiraz, 40% Cabernet. Inky dark red in colour. On the nose there are spicy dark plum fruit with blackcurrant and eucalypt notes. The palate has rich, plush and juicy flavours of fleshy plum and dark berry fruit, notes of cedary oak and damp earth, fine-grained tannins and a savoury finish.

2017 Water Wheel Bendigo Shiraz Cabernet

A delicious blend of grapes from the Water Wheel home vineyard. Aromas of ripe blueberries, white pepper and chocolate lead into a palate with cascading black and purple fruits, plush and silky from start to finish, with good length and structure and a long finish.

2020  Willunga 100 McLaren Vale Grenache

A rich ruby red appearance with a fragrant nose of raspberry, a hint of dark cherry and spice. Silky texture on the palate, but with a juicy fruit core that shows plum, red berries, and a savoury finish.

Wizards plan

Super selection as always, even though they might not be to your specific taste. I use this selection for my more everyday drinking, and the Super12 for that something extra.

The Wizards case contained top quality and unusual Aussie wines, including Water Wheel Shiraz, which you can't just pick up in the local supermarket. I highly recommend AWC for both friendly service and great wines.

Always Interesting Wines in this case

This case has been marketed by AWC for a number of years. You can either select the mixed red/white case or the all red case. It is a great way to sample their fairly varied stock without splashing out on larger quantities of the usual 6 or 12 bottle case of a single wine. I can assure you that the people running this business are totally focused on Aussie wines and after buying from them for well over 10 years I feel they know their trade very well and can see they have great contacts down under. There is also the advantage that if you don’t fancy the mixed or all reds case then you can just tell them to "skip" that 3 monthly case.
PS if you are really into quality Aussie wines you can ask to receive details of the 3 monthly Super 12 cases. It works in the same way as the Wizards Case and you email them the word “skip” for any quarter's case you don’t fancy. The AWC website does not always display the latest Super 12 or Wizards case details so it is best to receive details by email.

Never disappointed!

I’ve been member of the Australian wine centre for more than 15 years and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed with the wine I’ve received, nor have I ever had to return a bottle let alone a case. Craig provides quality wine at a great price. If your thinking of purchasing a case, I’d personally recommend the Willows Shiraz, an absolutely gorgeous, full bodied red from the Barossa valley What’s not to like? Go buy some!
