The nose has impressive purity of fruit showing lush scents of summer pudding with lifted re fruits, berries and a hint of cinanamon. The palate is generous and mouthfilling with sweet blackberry, raspberry and plum flavours with uindercurrents of mulberries and chocolate.
2020 Primo Estate Virginia Vineyards Shiraz Cabernet Merlot
The 2020 Virginia Vineyards is a proven blend of Shiraz (61%), Cabernet Sauvignon (32%) and Merlot (7%), the style is harmonious and mouth filling. Following blending, the wine was aged in older American and French oak barrels to marry the components and impart a mellow, lingering oak character. It's a deep, rich, warm-hearted wine, with luscious flavours and a long, velvety finish.
2019 Willunga 100 McLaren Vale Shiraz
This wine reflects the Grenache characteristics of both the Blewitt Springs and McLaren Flat sub-regions of McLaren Vale, with bright lifted fruit in the blue and red spectrum alongside intense floral aromatics. The palate has generous pure fruit harnessed by fine sandy tannins and a richness on the mid-palate reflecting the influence of the oak.
