Tim Adams Rieslings are back!

Despite the ongoing shipping problems from Australia, our supplies of Tim Adams wines have been replenished!

We’ve now good stocks of Tim’s reds and the Tim Adams 2020 Clare Valley Riesling is back in stock after sales went through the roof in March. and

There’s also a very limited quantity of the 2018 Skilly Ridge Riesling which has been rated at a whopping 97 points by James Halliday’s Wine Companion, see below.

2020 Tim Adams Clare Valley Riesling 11.5% 6x75cl £66.00

95 points. Lemon, lemongrass and lime fruit are fused together by acidity that doesn't jar on the finish, simply providing the all-important length and crisp finish.” James Halliday

The use of only the free run juice has produced a wine that is intensely flavoured and aromatic, retaining delicacy at the same time. The wine has floral and citrus aromas of grapefruit, lime and lemon. The palate is seamless with a richness of flavour built from dry ripening conditions leading into vintage. The finish is crisp, dry and long.

2018 Tim Adams Skilly Ridge Riesling 11.0% 6x75cl £96.00

97 points. Dazzling quartz-green, this has a purity and restraint that is in the fountainhead of all great rieslings. It is as much to do with what it doesn't have (overt acidity, extract, etc) as its many high points. Free-run juice from high quality grapes has its own reward.” James Halliday

The wine shows intense lemon, grapefruit and blossom aromas and flavours with a focussed line of minerality and acidity, yet retains delicacy and purity for an enjoyable finish. Produced using only free-run juice, fruit flavours are kept pure and the resultant wine mirrors the berries tasted in the vineyard at harvest. This wine is enjoyable with or without food and can be kept to develop gracefully for up to 15 years.
