Big perfume and flavour of rich, blackcurrant, maraschino cherry, nougat and coconut with a dash of minty herbs in the mix. Sloshy texture with sweet, palate grabbing tannins and a mocha-laden finish rolls out with decent length. Great value.

The parson - a winner

A worthy relation to their flagship wine, the Vicar. Perversely Chapel Hill market their Grenache in Australia under the same name (my son advises). I'll be getting more of the Parson, which is amongst the best Cab Sav I've tasted in due course.
