A benchmark Yarra Valley Pinot Noir: fragrant, textural, and complex, with a seamless balance between fruit, spice, and savoury notes.

This wine is very much a sum of its parts, with perfumed cherry characters coming from the Sexton Vineyard, Campari notes from the Applejack vineyard and mocha and cocoa earthiness from the Trafford vineyard underpinning it. 

The colour is bright ruby with youthful clarity. The nose opens with vibrant red fruit—cherry and raspberry—layered with black cherry, plum, and mulberry. Subtle exotic spices and gentle oak notes add depth, while a hint of earthiness and truffle emerges in the background

The palate is rich and velvety, with dark fruit flavours of black cherry, blackberry, and a touch of raspberry. There is a lovely concentration and purity, with supple, silky tannins and perfectly balanced, crisp acidity. Underlying notes of savoury spice, forest floor, and white mushroom contribute complexity and finesse. The finish is long, fresh, and harmonious, marked by sappy brightness and subtle oak integration

An elegant wine with breadth, structure and viscosity on the palate. Ideal with roasted game, mushroom risotto, or simply enjoyed on its own.
