The eight hectare Polish Hill vineyard (ACO certified organic) was planted in 1996 at an elevation of 460 metres, in the coolest part of the Clare Valley. Relatively close-planted, there are three clones of Riesling (two German and one rare local clone) producing an average of just two bottles of wine per vine.

Golden in colour, this Riesling opens up with delightful floral aromas, hints of lime juice and beeswax. The palate is lean and structured, combined with a slight minerality and limey finish. An excellently complex, refreshing wine that bodes well in its youth but will age beautifully over the next decade or so.
