Fruit from the higher reaches of the Eden Valley has delivered a wine with lifted, ripe lemon notes, hints of white stone fruit and flinty mineral nuances. Judicious oak ageing in French hogsheads has given this an appealing spicy, buttery character.

Alan Wells It slipped my mind to review this wine and now I’ve finished the six I had. It’s a rather tasty Chardonnay and better than many Chardonnays from Burgundy at twice the price. Not too heavy and with a distinctive taste of the grape. I pleasant change from the endless Riesling and Semillion I have ordered before
