Totally opaque black core with a bright purple dark red hue. Sreaming out of the glass are dark raspberry, plum and liquorice fruits which are trailed by a whiff of blueberry, vanillin confectionary, subtle dried herb and light spice notes. Intense and luscious, the palate is awash with rich dark raspberry, blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which cast a plush, opulent feel across the palate. Silky smooth tannins with the back half picking up subtle blueberry, dried herb and vanillin confectionary elements. Finishes with good freshness and a dash of spice. Outstanding power with a long, sumptuous aftertaste.
