“Tim Adams Shiraz has given me more pleasure over the years than almost any other Australian wine and while similarly fine Aussie reds seem to shoot up in price every time I think of buying a bottle, Tim Adams Shiraz barely seems to keep pace with inflation." Oz Clarke
"A full-bodied, savoury Shiraz that, despite its whopping 14.5% alcohol level, nevertheless feels well balanced. There is plenty of Clare Valley fruit - blackberry, mulberry and dark cherry - to savour and a lovely, earthy finish. A fine match with a rib-eye." Will Lyons (The Sunday Times 17/11/19)This sophisticated wine has a rich deep crimson hue with aromas and flavours of blackberry, mulberry and dark cherry. Further complexity is built through 24 months of American oak maturation. The front and mid-palate is full and soft, with flavours of small berry fruit and spice complemented by the oak. The wine finishes with integrated toasted oak and firm, structural tannin.
This elegant Clare Shiraz has power and finesse which makes it both approachable now and worthy of keeping for up to 10 years.
Reliable as ever this 2016 is a true example of type from Tim Adams.
Not as complex as some vintages but a great drink and excellent value for money
Discovered this wine some years ago when in Australia and every vintage l have purchased has proved excellent.
This bottle is everything that it promises. Smooth, rich and full. A close second to the 2014.
I have been drinking Tim Adams Clare Valley Shiraz since the 2008 vintage and it never disappoints. It is a great Australian Shiraz and it is good value.
This has got to be one of the best Shiraz I have ever tasted. Fabulous value
