An exuberant fruit profile, given its youth, from mulberries and cassis to blackberries all offset by complex savoury notes, think nori, iodine and tapenade, a flutter of spice, too and a little smoky. It’s fine boned in a way, as it’s just medium-bodied with filigree tannins, neat acidity and a radicchio bitterness to finish. A benchmark Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon: concentrated, complex, and stylish, with black fruit purity, fine tannins, and a long, savoury finish.

The colour is  deep ruby with purple hues, showing youthful vibrancy and concentration. On the nose there are classic Cabernet aromas: cassis, mulberries and blue fruits  with hints of mocha. 

The palate is full-bodied and concentrated, with a core of inky black fruits—cassis, blackberry, and plum—layered with dark chocolate, tobacco, and a touch of liquorice. The fruit is supported by ripe, silky tannins and well-integrated French oak (with 40% new barrels), lending structure and a gentle, cedary influence. Savoury notes of spice and a hint of mint enliven the mid-palate, leading to a long, smooth, and persistent finish.

A cross between Napa valley and Bordeaux.
