"Inky-purple legs colour the glass, full-bodied, lush ripe fruit, wild plums, chocolate, tobacco leaf and hints of spearmint. Smooth tannin enveloped by a warm finish." RealWineReview
This wine displays expressive and alluring aromas of liquorice and mulberry. The wonderfully structured and eloquent palate is broodingly complexed by an array of persistent fine grain tannins.
A worthy relation to their flagship wine, the Vicar. Perversely Chapel Hill market their Grenache in Australia under the same name (my son advises). I'll be getting more of the Parson, which is amongst the best Cab Sav I've tasted in due course.
