Sons of Eden co-owners, Corey Ryan (“cut his teeth” as winemaker at Henschke for 10 yrs) winemaker and Simon Cowham (ex-viticulturist Yalumba) have come up trumps again with this impressive wine.

The 2021 Sons Of Eden Zephyrus Shiraz is made from a blend of 14 unique individual Shiraz parcels grown throughout the Barossa Region. The combination of cooler climate Eden Valley Shiraz (46%) and warmer climate Barossa Valley Shiraz (54%) work in unison to enhance the palate, structure and aromas.

Deep crimson in colour with a bouquet of dark fruits, spices, and chocolate. Rich, concentrated and gorgeously textured, the palate is awash in opulent dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and ripe blueberry fruits.

Notions of spicy vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered dried herb characters the back drop. Outstanding power, volume and depth with seamlessly integrated cashmere like tannins. Finishes long, sumptuous and plush.

A modern style Barossa Shiraz which is drinking beautifully now and will improve in the bottle for over a decade.
